Why Ministers Became Ordained:

1.    Rev. Amy Long:

Hello.  My name is Rev. Amy Long.  My ULC story started in 1992.  It was then that I heard that my former church where I attended seminary was going to charge its ministers $250/year to maintain our licenses.  I didn’t want to pay that, so I looked for other options.  My friend told me that I could get ordained through the mail, so I sent off my information and request to become ordained through the Universal Life Church.

4.   Rev. Dr. Rodney E. Langley

Succumbing to the urgency of "need" to provide greater Universal Service to Mankind, we were emboldened by the availability of a Most Unique Gift. Studies in University, Self-study in Languages, and Religion, and Doctor of Divinity Degree awarded by University of Metaphysics, L.A. in June, 1986, we traveled and travailed the world over, in larger groupings of Doctors, Lawyers, Politicians, friends and family, Terrorist, murderer, victim, or just afflicted, and found many that were in need.

Coworkers asked me to help them and their families.  While on TV for my work with smoking cessation and weight loss, a cancer specialist saw me.  He asked if I could use my “mental stuff” to relieve pain, so he could reduce the medication he gave his patients.  We accomplished this and his patients were helped tremendously.

During this time, I met a university football coach who asked me to help his team improve performance.  The mental techniques worked so well, that he asked if I could these techniques to help with his injured athletes.  Initially, I worked on three athletes (partial shoulder separation, meniscus damage, grade 2 ankle sprain) scheduled to be out of the next game.  In 20 minutes each, they had no pain and full range-of-motion.  The following day, they safely played.

These amazing healings continue.  Two research projects were undertaken to test the technique.  One study at the University of Ottawa, Canada and one with the City of St. Paul, MN, Risk Management Division (workers’ compensation).  Both studies showed that the technique is cost effective, safe, quick and long lasting.

Healing
There is a vast amount of literature pointing to the use of mind, emotion and prayer (spirit) in the healing of the physical.  That is exactly what I found to be true.  I didn’t start out to do this.  But with Spirit guiding, I have seen amazing healings, even “over-the-phone.”  Only through Spirit is it possible, no matter what the condition, to experience a healing.

Testimonials
Dr. Petras "worked on ten patients, most of them among our most difficult patients.  All of them had at the time of his session an excellent response with either marked reduction or elimination of pain.”  Dr. C. Norman Shealy-Neurosurgeon, Director-Shealy Institute for Comprehensive Care, Springfield, MO

“I had never seen such a rapid improvement…Technique is very safe and effective in reducing pain and improving range of motion.  I highly recommend...” Dr. Gary Greenberg, M.D., FRCPC - Medical Director, Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine Physician, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

“…a lot of people have acute pain and chronic pain and his approach can accomplish things that we cannot accomplish with medications, therapy, etc.”  Dr. Brenda Wilcox Abraham, M.D., M.S. - Family Physician, HealthPartners, St. Paul, MN

Weddings… are a part of my ministry, because I was asked by a couple to preside at their wedding.  Once again, Spirit chose me, to be of service.  I continue to do weddings because I am abundantly blessed when I participate in the spiritual joining of a loving couple.
